Giddy Girl {174}

Dear Miss Dinah,

This morning we went to the pool again for a few hours. Actually, it felt like afternoon already by the time that we got there since we had awaken when Grandpa got up to leave for his 60 mile bike race at 6 a.m.

We talked to Daddy on the phone for a while, and that made you plum giddy. You acted so antsy like you wanted to tell him all kids of stuff, and ask him how your kitty was doing. He listened intently, and assured you that your kitty was doing well. Misses you, though. Good thing we'll be back home tomorrow. And Daddy has another job on Tuesday, but not tomorrow so he'll be home too.

Swimming with Aunt K and Sisi is so much fun, because they are masters of the pool with a lot to teach. Your Aunt K was a very accomplished swimmer in high school and Sisi has been swimming as long as I can remember.

After swimming, you took a very long nap in the afternoon and we went to grab a bite for dinner. It's fun going out together. We get to make new friends wherever we go. Just two chatty small-town girls livin' it up in the big city ;)

Yesterday Sisi brought over some of our old toys to keep at your grandpa's house. Let's just say your Aunt Elisa and I had a fun time trying to figure out whose were whose.

"Oh, look! My thread box!" we both exclaimed. Lots of laughing.

And we won't even mention these:

Oh, my.

I love you,

Mamma <3
