This morning watching Daddy bring two-by-fours down the stairs.
You know you're not supposed to step down into that room :-)
You took an early nap, and after lunch we spent a long afternoon at the Discovery Center. Since it was Veteran's Day and many children were out of school as well, the center was a bit more busy than normal.
A soldier had diligently made this design on the light board, and you came along and a few small changes.
One lookout bubble in the tunnel
I asked you what you saw as you looked out, and you gave a full and detailed report...
"Da dee da chee wa ga ra da da da ba bedee do..."
This basket was full of animals until...
A little girl who was spending the afternoon with her aunt had rallied them all for her "animal train."
Until the rainstorm came (there really is a thunder and lightning show in the ceiling every 15 minutes or so) and she said, "Hurry! We need to get these animals into a cave so their fur doesn't get wet!" Clearly, the animals did not want their fur getting wet so it only made sense to hustle them back into the basket and into a "cave."
It also served as an ingenious induction into clean-up time.
Back home and eating some dinner, and there is Daddy finishing up his work out there...
Thrown on the bed, flipped over, and then the point...
And the double point...
I love you,
Mamma <3
