2 Rutabaga {374}

Dear Miss Dinah,

Big changes come about by one nearly imperceivable step after another.

I feel that this is true about our lives right now, in more ways than one. There are huge projects that we are chipping away at, and progress is being made! The most obvious, of course, is the kitchen/bathroom remodel in the downstairs apartment.

But another is health-related, an area that is notorious for needing to make small changes over a long period of time for them to be lasting. It is my hope and prayer that these small changes will yield big results for our family now and for the future.

Your crib space seems to be getting a little crowded lately. Especially today, when you insisted that it was nap time for monkey too.

Monkey Jr. came out to play today. (That is a stocking from Christmas time)

Here we are cutting up veggies for tomorrow's meals. You love to touch all the food (good thing we wash your hands before we start). You also taste test everything, but of course, in the case of things like raw potato and rutabaga, you spit it right back out.

I don't know if it was just a coincidence or not, but you brought me two rutabaga, and said, "Two!"
Then you brought me two carrots and said, "Two!"

I said, "Say Cheese!" and well, cheese you did.

Cheese you did.

This is us checking in with Daddy, seeing how things are coming along. You are pointing, and saying, "Daddy!"

We showed him our game that we like to play sometimes, where we put our heads together and shake them around a little.

Man we are so silly :)

Tonight:
Friday night pizza. And you spun during dinner. Lots. You spun around. I think you were so happy to eat pizza, you were dancing. Come to think of it, you spun at lunch soon. Hmmm... maybe you really like food, or spinning... or both :)

I love you,

Mamma <3
