This morning at church we had a 'guest' preacher. The man who preached, Mr. Dave, is a very special friend of Mamma and Daddy. He used to pastor the church here a number of years ago, but besides that, he is the one who married us 5 years ago! We love him, enjoy seeing him, and appreciate the truth that he clearly presents to us from the Word of God.
This afternoon we made cookies for the Superbowl party tonight. We made peanut butter cookies again. You exercised more self control today as you actually helped put dough balls in the pan without stuffing them in your mouth!
You helped put criss cross patterns on the cookies with a fork. Your criss-crosses looked a little like holes -- but you still did great!
Oh, and after I was so impressed by you refraining from the dough, I accidentally left the room and left the sugar bag out...
But you weren't sad about that at all.
Nope, not one bit.
Tonight we went to Mr. Jovan and Ms. Quinita's along with many others from church. You got to meet her niece, little Camilla. She is 2, almost 3 years old.
You two enjoyed a yummy chicken dinner together.
And drawing on the computer screen.
Things have come a long way since the days of paper and crayons!
Superbowl halftime show: Camilla was dancing, dancing, dancing! You found it all very amusing.
I love you,
Mamma <3
