Tall Boots and Chicken Dinner {329}

Dear Miss Dinah,

These boots were made for walking...but that is not something that you can do easily (or at all!) in them, my love. They take up your whole entire leg! I'm sure Miss Savannah would have like to see you in them...

Today we went out and finished our Christmas shopping. We only had a few more people to shop for, and we found the perfect things. It's always better to give than to receive, and this time of year, there's a lot of opportunity to do that!

You got a little bit of a nap in, before Daddy and Mr. Tom had to start working on the basement again. With the power saws and banging hammers, it wasn't too long until you woke up again. But it was a nice day, so we just took our show on the road and strolled around the block a dozen or so times.

This evening we went over to Mr. Jovan and Ms. Quinita's house for dinner. They are the ones who usually take care of you at church, so you know them pretty well. Their children Miss Ryah and Mr. Sean are also your church buddies.

Playing with a fascinating magnetic alphabet toy:

Ms. Quinita baked a very delicious chicken, along with potatoes, greens, rolls and salad.

Miss Ryah was trying to snuggle you, until you slithered away...

Then Mr. Sean tries to snuggle (or body slam) his sister:

He shares his helicopter and truck with you:

Here you are "playing" a video game with him. Your controller does not have batteries, but this does not stop you from playing to the best of your abilities.

We stayed out late late late. You were so tired, but it was worth it to spend quality time with friends.

I love you,

Mamma <3
