Dear Miss Dinah,
Today it dipped down into the forties.
That meant it was time to stock up on warmer weather gear, and thankfully, there was a giant kids' sale this weekend in a nearby city. We were able to find some excellent deals, and overall I am very happy with our purchases.
We were in the 18/24-month-isle for most of our visit, as that is where your size should be for much of the winter/spring.
Besides clothing, there were lots of toys and goodies to look at. You were very friendly to an almost-3-year-old little girl who was also playing amongst the toys. In the center of this photo, you can see how she climbed into play jeep -- and you climbed in right alongside her!
Fall is also the season to get finances in order and make a plan for the upcoming year. We have started to tackle this big task. It can be daunting at first, but it is so important to sit down and take an honest look at finances together with your family. We are always looking for ways to improve our attitude, outlook, and in turn, the outcome of our situation. Tonight we ran across this quote:
"Some people are so poor. All they have is money." We are so thankful for the blessings of the Lord that extend far beyond money in our life. We are also thankful that He gives us good work and allows us to labor with Him.
Tonight Daddy asked you if you wanted waffles for dinner. Convinced that you said yes, he started making them, with you in his arms.
And with a belly full of waffles, you went happily to sleep.
I love you,
Mamma <3
