Six-and-a-Half Hours {255}

Dear Miss Dinah,

A chilly morning as we get ready to depart.

You munch on a pear.
We share this pear, actually.
Not quite equally.

Just stopped for lunch at J's BBQ and shared a meal. The kind owner gave us a piece of sweet potato pie with whipped cream for dessert.
Daddy, who had left a little after us because he had a few errands to run, hadn't quite caught up yet at this point.
Oh, you would like to drive the next leg of the trip? :)

Closer to home... park break!

We had lots of fun on this merry-go-round. It made good, loud sounds as you marched across it. You weren't so sure about the slide at first as it was probably the longest one you've ever gone down. I almost thought you were going to try and climb back down, but you managed to make it down - on your tummy the first time! Then a few more times the right way... and with smiles.

We arrived home after a long day's journey. It was about 5:30 and man, was Pizwit ever glad to see us!

You'd think we'd have shaved some time off the trip by now, but a six-and-a-half-hour drive still takes, at least, six-and-a-half hours.

I love you,

Mamma <3
