This morning after breakfast, we went for a short hike. It really is a short hike, with an incredible reward at the end. This is the trail head.
We used the baby backpack that we picked up at the consignment sale last week. It works great! You weren't so sure about stopping to take pictures I guess... must keep walking. And not to worry, it's less than a 10 minute walk to the top!

It was a nice morning, but still a little chilly out. We played a few minutes at the park near the trail. The slide looked a little dewy, and it turned out to be a lot dewy :) We had to stop by home and change clothes before going to baby rhyming time at the library.
And guess what? You woke up from your afternoon and...Aunt Elisa was here! She drove up to spend the afternoon with us! Here she is eating a snack with you.
Later on, out and about, and then gathering groceries to make potato soup for dinner.
