Growing Dirt Piles and Sweet Babies {252}

Dear Miss Dinah,

Daddy was so thrilled to read his love letter yesterday morning. You'd sealed it with three little stickers: a doggie, a teddy bear, and a princess with her prince...

 We strolled across the city park to go and see and old family friend of ours. We spent the morning with this sweet woman and you got to stroll around her house a bit with the a pram and baby dolls that belonged to her more than sixty years ago! You also enjoyed playing her her newest grandbaby, six-month-old Joseph, who was staying with her at this time.

You promptly fell asleep for the duration of our 20 minute walk home.

Still digging away...

A board on top of the dirt to access the sink area... which soon may be demolished!

Growing dirt pile...

Snack break...

We drove to a city about and hour and a half away to have dinner with some friends. There were so many sweet babies running around! We shared a delicious meal and had a wonderful evening.

We decided to try and capture a photo of all the mammas and children... Starting to get everybody rounded up...

Thank you Rachel (Sol, actually) for taking the amazing shot!
Tips for taking great photos of very small children...
1. Hold the camera up above.
2. Make loud siren-like noises.
3. Click the button at least 30 times.

 We partied late into the evening (about 8:30) :) then started the drive back. You slept all the way, of course.

I love you,

Mamma <3
